Prices: We will endeavor to keep prices the same until the next printing of the price list, but prices are subject to change with-out notice.

Shipping Charges: Shipping charges will be paid by RKI for equipment shipped from RKI Instruments, Inc., Union City, CA, by UPS Brown service anywhere within the contiguous 48 States, under the following conditions:

• The net invoice value is $100.00 or more.
• Your account is current within our net 30 day payment terms.

Shipping charges will be prepaid and added to the invoice for the following:

• For shipments less than $100 invoice value.
• For shipments by UPS 1, 2, or 3 day service or any other shipping method besides UPS Brown.
• For shipment outside the 48 States.
• For Hazardous Materials shipments of calibration gases and kits, the shipping charges will be added to the invoice in all cases and will include a hazmat handling charge. Hazmat charges have an approximate range of $20 to $50.

Drop Shipments: RKI will drop ship to customers at no extra charge.

Payment Terms: Our terms are net 30 days with credit approval. Customers with overdue accounts may be put on credit hold or have future shipments sent COD.

Minimum Billing: $50.00 net minimum billing applies to any order.

Same Day Shipments: RKI will endeavor to ship all items possible the same day the order is received, for orders received by 1:00 PST and for items that are in stock. For emergency orders however, please ask when placing the order to verify if it will be possible to ship it the same day.

Shortages/ Errors: Claims for shortages or shipping errors must be made within 30 days of ship date.

Returns & Credits: All returns must be accompanied by an RKI return form (The RKI Material Return / Repair Form can be found on the inside, back cover of the price list or a copy can be faxed to you). Reason for return must be stated and must be reasonable (as determined by RKI) and discussed prior to return of the equipment. A restocking fee of $75.00 or 10% of the invoice value (whichever is greater) will apply to all credit returns.

No returns will be accepted after 30 days for sensors or calibration cylinders.

If any customer is not satisfied with equipment supplied by RKI, it may be returned within 15 days for full credit if still in new condition.

Repairs: All instruments sent in for repair must be accompanied by a completed Material Return / Repair Form mentioned the above Returns & Credits section. Minimum billing for any repair is $50.00. If an estimate is required prior to repair, there is a $50.00 charge for the estimate. (This may then be applied towards the repair cost). Please include a P.O. to cover the repair or the estimate when sending the instrument in. To expedite repairs, please include a “not to exceed figure” when sending the instrument in. In this case, you will be contacted only if costs exceed the NTE figure.

Demo (Loaned) Equipment: Demo equipment will be invoiced if not returned within 30 days of delivery or agreed upon terms.
